YOUR DATA. YOUR CHOICE.

Privacy Policy.

We want you to understand what information Fitro uses, why it is needed, and what choices you have when using our website and fitness services.

Effective date: Applies to Fitro website and app, as described below
Privacy at a glance

Fitro uses account and fitness information to provide its features. Some features may request access to device permissions, such as Apple Health and the camera. You can manage permissions using your device settings.

01 Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how Fitro ("Fitro", "we", "our", or "us") handles information when you visit fitroai.com or use the Fitro application and related services. It covers account creation, fitness insights, coaching, messaging, and body-scan features where available.

Features may differ by device, app version, and region. We explain privacy choices relevant to the features you use.

02 Information we collect

Depending on the features you use, Fitro may process:

  • Account and profile information: name, email address, account role, date of birth, profile photo, height, weight, fitness goals, and sign-in identifiers.
  • Workout and wellness information: activities, workout preferences, training plans, nutrition entries, progress metrics, and other information you choose to enter.
  • Coaching and communications: trainer/customer relationships, messages, content you share, and support requests.
  • Technical information: device or app identifiers, push-notification tokens, basic diagnostic logs, and server security logs as needed to operate and protect the service.
  • Website interactions: information you submit in forms and technical data generated during normal website access.

Third-party authentication providers may also handle information under their own privacy policies.

03 Health and fitness information

If you enable health integrations, Fitro may request permission to read selected measurements such as steps, walking distance, calories, exercise activity, sleep, heart rate, and body measurements. Availability varies by device, permission, and app feature.

On supported Apple devices, you decide which categories Fitro may access through Apple Health / HealthKit. Access is permission-based, and you can review or revoke these permissions through your device settings. Revoking a permission prevents future access through that permission, but does not automatically delete information previously transferred to Fitro's servers.

Health and fitness information is intended to support personal progress, features you request, and coaching experiences you choose to participate in. It should not be used for targeted advertising or sold to data brokers. Fitro is a fitness and wellness service, not a medical diagnosis or emergency service.

04 Body scans, images and camera access

Body-scanning features may need access to your camera and, where supported, depth sensors. Depending on the implementation, the feature may process photographs, depth or point-cloud measurements, pose landmarks, body measurements, and generated scan insights.

Camera access is requested through device permissions. You can deny or revoke access in device settings, although scanning features may then be unavailable.

05 How information is used

  • To create and secure accounts and provide the features you request.
  • To show personalized workouts, fitness trends, and progress insights.
  • To enable customer–trainer interactions and messaging where enabled.
  • To send service communications and notifications, subject to your choices.
  • To respond to enquiries, troubleshoot issues, prevent misuse, and maintain the service.
  • To meet applicable legal obligations.

Where consent is required, we will seek it before accessing sensitive information. We do not treat permission to access health information as permission for unrelated marketing.

06 Sharing and third-party services

Information may be shared with service providers that help us operate Fitro, such as hosting, sign-in, push notifications, and customer-support services, subject to appropriate protections. If you voluntarily interact with a trainer, information you choose to share in that relationship may be visible to the relevant trainer.

We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and service integrity. Service providers are permitted to use information only as needed to perform services for Fitro, subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements.

07 Data retention and security

We aim to retain personal information only as long as needed for the disclosed service purposes, legitimate operational needs, or applicable legal requirements. Different information types may have different retention periods.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information, such as access controls and secure network communications. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

08 Your privacy choices and rights

  • Profile: review or update available account and fitness details in the app.
  • Permissions: manage camera, notifications, and Apple Health permissions in your device settings.
  • Account deletion: request deletion of your account and associated personal information through the available in-app method or the privacy contact below. We will provide information about the deletion process when you make a request.
  • Data requests: ask about access, correction, or deletion of your personal information, subject to applicable law.

Some information may need to be retained for limited legal or security reasons. We will explain applicable limitations when responding to requests.

09 Children and international users

Fitro is intended for people who meet the age requirements set out in our service terms and applicable law. If we learn that personal information was collected contrary to applicable age requirements, we will take appropriate steps to address it.

Fitro may be accessed from different countries. Depending on hosting and providers, information may be processed outside your location. Where cross-border processing occurs, we take steps required by applicable privacy laws to protect personal information.

10 Contact and policy updates

If you have questions or requests concerning your information, contact the Fitro team using our contact page. You may also use this channel to request information about account deletion or applicable privacy rights.
