A number on the scale cannot tell the full story of your training.
Choose several meaningful indicators
Track your training frequency, walking activity, exercise technique, endurance and how you feel during ordinary activities. Choose indicators that relate to your goals.
Use consistent measurements
If you use body measurements or progress photos, keep conditions similar: lighting, time of day, clothing and posture. Expect normal day-to-day variation.
Review trends monthly
A multi-week pattern is more informative than a single score. Review what improved, what became harder and where a change in routine might help.
Keep the process supportive
Progress can include sleeping better, feeling more confident moving, or keeping a promise to exercise regularly. Avoid interpreting consumer app estimates as clinical measurements.
